Ep 02: Like A Dream

Marissa Mullen is a Brooklyn based connoisseur of cheese, a magician of iPhone photography, an author of books (well maybe just one, but I made it plural because I know there’ll be more). Marissa has been hustling since since age 16 when she was volunteering for band street teams and non profits, later on becoming Meghan Trainor’s personal tour videographer/photographer, interning for Jimmy Fallon, working on the late show with Stephen Colbert, and then ultimately giving it all up to follow her passion of designing cheese boards. Yes, you heard that right… cheese boards?  

Marissa used cheese plating as a form of self-care and an escape from her busy work life in late night television and then transformed that escape into a full time career. Marissa and her cheese by numbers method have been featured on The Today Show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, the Racheal Ray show and in People Magazine, Refinery 29, Us Weekly, Food Network… just to name a few. A lot of people say that success is all about being in the right place at the right time… I’m going to go ahead and say that it is physically impossible for Marissa to have been in this many good places at all of the right times. Success comes to those who tirelessly hustle to achieve their dreams… like Marissa!
